How to convert a U.S. Bank statement to Excel

First download PDF eStatements from U.S. Bank online banking or the app. Then upload the PDF to ParseForMe — it reads every transaction into a table, scores each field so you can review anything uncertain, and exports to Excel, CSV, Google Sheets or QuickBooks. There is nothing to install and no manual typing.

What ParseForMe reads from a U.S. Bank statement

The account details and holder, the statement period, opening and closing balances, and one row per transaction — date, description, amount, debit or credit direction, running balance and a spending category. Every value carries a confidence score. The full field list is below.

U.S. Bank statements and spreadsheets

U.S. Bank delivers eStatements as PDFs. For bookkeeping or expense analysis those PDFs need to become spreadsheet rows — ParseForMe extracts every transaction and the opening and closing balances.

Frequently asked questions

My bank lets me download CSV — do I still need this?

If your bank gives you clean CSV, use it. ParseForMe is for the common case where you only have a PDF: older or closed-account statements, foreign-currency accounts, or a PDF a client or accountant sent you.

Can ParseForMe read a scanned or photographed U.S. Bank statement?

Yes. Alongside downloaded PDFs it handles scans and phone photos (PNG, JPEG, TIFF, WebP) up to 20 MB.

Is my U.S. Bank statement handled securely?

Documents are processed for parsing only, and raw uploads are deleted after ingest. Your parsed transactions stay in your workspace for you to review and export.
