Which utility bills can ParseForMe read?
Electricity, gas, water and telecom bills as PDF, scan or photo (PNG, JPEG, TIFF, WebP) up to 20 MB. The same fields are captured across providers.
Does it capture metered usage as well as cost?
Yes — the usage quantity and unit are separate fields from the charges, so you can track consumption and spend independently.
Can I compare bills across months?
Export each bill to the same spreadsheet template and the billing period, usage and total due line up column-by-column for month-over-month comparison.
Can I use it to get bills into ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager?
Through a spreadsheet: energystar.gov says Portfolio Manager accepts spreadsheet templates that create or update many meters at once. ParseForMe reads each bill’s billing period start and end, usage and unit, and meter number, so a year of bills becomes rows you can copy into that template. Portfolio Manager’s own property and meter IDs come from your account, not from the bill.
